The IPROP project recently marked a milestone with a partner meeting hosted by the CNRS collaborators. Over two days, participants reviewed progress achieved in the first year of project implementation under the coordination of Prof. Marco Belan from Politecnico di Milano’s Department of Aerospace Science and Technology.

The Department of Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering, “Guglielmo Marconi” of University of Bologna and the Department of Mathematics, MOX – Modelling and Scientific Computing of Politecnico di Milano presented IPROP theoretical and numerical modeling at the 5th IEEE International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD).

An atmospheric EHD thruster has been tested in a wind tunnel by the PoliMi laboratory group of the IPROP project, simulating low speed flight conditions and comparing the measurements with a theoretical model.
