IPROP Project has been successfully presented to an audience of over 700 attendees at #ITEC2025 – IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo + Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium (ITEC+EATS), held in Anaheim, California — a key international event supporting the transition to clean, electrified mobility. The team from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna showcased the IPROP project’s advancements in ionic propulsion for atmospheric applications, with two notable contributions:
1. “Symmetrical Cockcroft-Walton Voltage Multipliers with Multiple Intermediate Loads for Ionic Propulsion in Atmosphere”
2. “Square-Wave-Fed Cockcroft-Walton Voltage Multipliers for Ionic Propulsion in Atmosphere”
Sara Baldisserri, PhD student and core researcher on the IPROP Project, was awarded the prestigious #ITEC2025 Student Travel Grant Award by the IEEE Power Electronics Society, distinguishing herself among more than 200 accepted papers. The work was presented by:
-
Eng. Sara Baldisserri
-
Prof. Riccardo Mandrioli
-
Prof. Mattia Ricco
Co-authors from the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering (DEI), University of Bologna, also include:
