The IPROP project was recently represented at the International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD 2026), held in Southampton, United Kingdom, from 21 to 25 June 2026.

The IPROP project has reached a significant milestone with the successful flight testing of its second pre-demonstrator airship, marking steady progress toward its long-term ambition – the development of a fully ion-powered airship.

The latest IPROP research results “Simulation of an Ionization Wave Propagating Along a Silicon-Based Surface” have presented by CNRS partner, where presented at the 36th International Conference on Phenomena in Ionized Gases (ICPIG), on 25th July, in Aix-en-Provence.
